S&P500 Challenge onboarding

Welcome to the challenge where I attempt to beat the S&P500 10% annual returns with an automated trading bot.

Details of the challenge

• I’ve allocated funds of $200  real-money in my coinbase crypto account for this challenge. 

• I’ll be using a proven trading bot that has been consistently profitable for the past 3 years in live accounts. 

• The strategy currently trades the crypto market.e.

• The bot trades on its own, with no emotion or interference from humans. 

• I’m going to be tracking its performance day by day for 45 days and compare it to the S&P 500 on a daily return basis

• So in this case if S&P does 10 per cent a year, 10/12. = 0.83% per month or 0.03% per day

• From the above calculation, I need the trading bot to make at least 0.04% per day or about 11% per month.

• Why for 45 days? Because I want to make it “do-able” for anyone else if they want to join along with me on this challenge for completely free!

• So you can test for yourself for 45 days along with me and see if you too can beat the S&P500

• The strategy has been optmized to require a minimum of $200 in your trading account, so its very  affordable and low barrier to entry.

• This means you’re not “depositing” funds into a third party company for it to trade, for example the trading bot company. 

• The trading software uses an api connection to only have permissions to trade and nothing else.

3. You need a crypto exchange account such as Coinbase and Binance. 

4. Deposit a minimum of $200 usdc

5. Connect your Crypto exchange account to the trading bot software

6. Setup and start your bot (instructions to setup bot available when you sign up for your free trial.

You can do all the above steps in about 30 mins or less.

And don’t worry if you start later or even  after 20 days whatever, because the bot operates on an  “evergreen basis”,  so basically you can get started at any time.
